Happy Friday chicsters! I cannot believe that February is almost over. I feel like it just started! I hope that you all had a great week (Valentine’s Day included) and looking forward to the weekend. I am mentally exhausted, data analysis and writing up has been merrily killing me. In between all the academic work, I managed to follow New York Fashion Week for the first time (all thanks to insta stories) and I must say, I think I will put attending at least one show on my bucket list. While I was a tad confused between some Spring and Fall/Autumn shows (I thought everybody would be doing a Fall collection), I did enjoy and appreciate seeing the effort and creativity put into the shows. My favourite shows were Delpozo (a new discovery), Michael Kors (that live orchestra was insane), Carolina Herrera and the underground club themed Alexander Wang show (Kendall’s walk was my highlight). If you are interested in fabrics, there was a lot of twead, suede, silk, embroidery and lace. I am loving the oversized, off the shoulder, ruffled and layered style so take a few fashion risks and play with your look this Autumn.
So, given that we are moving into Autumn I have compiled some of my favourite looks for all occasions.
